International Advanced Studies' Programmes
The Basel University Advanced Study Centre offers postgraduate degree – programmes to international postgraduate-students. You can get a Swiss University Degree or Certificate on different academic levels in a variety of scientific areas and subjects.
The postgraduate certificate-courses and studies are designed for a broad range of postgraduate students who wish to study in Basel/Switzerland for a couple of weeks (certificate-courses) up to a period of one (‹University Professional›-Degree) or two years (‹Master of Advanced Studies›-Degree). Postgraduate students are professionals with an academic background (bachelor- or master-degree) and vocational experience.
Postgraduate studies focus on skills in practical problem solving in vocational situations. Lectures are held in English. Languages accepted for writing exercises include English, French and German. No fellowships are available for postgraduate studies.
